# EZ Test vs EssayVelocity

The clearest difference is rating: EssayVelocity at 5.0 against EZ Test's 4.2. EssayVelocity also leads on ads (none vs shown). EZ Test's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases).
