# SliceTimeCam vs Trichromy

The clearest difference is update cadence: SliceTimeCam at weekly against Trichromy's every 3 weeks. SliceTimeCam also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SliceTimeCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Trichromy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SliceTimeCam ships an update weekly, Trichromy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
