# Hack Ex 2 vs Omega Protocol

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Omega Protocol at 100% against Hack Ex 2's 50%. Omega Protocol also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Hack Ex 2's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (83 vs 8). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hack Ex 2 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Omega Protocol asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hack Ex 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hack Ex 2 has 83 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Hack Ex 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of Omega Protocol's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hack Ex 2 ships an update every 6 days, Omega Protocol every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
