# Magicabin vs Mylib

Magicabin and Mylib both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Mylib's written reviews are positive against 38% of Magicabin's. Mylib also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Magicabin's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 261). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magicabin sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Mylib sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Magicabin against 4.8 for Mylib. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magicabin has 15K ratings behind it against 261, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of Magicabin's written reviews are positive against 86% of Mylib's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
