# PixelPencil vs Pixel Diffusion

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PixelPencil at 79% against Pixel Diffusion's 33%. PixelPencil also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (110 vs 4). Pixel Diffusion's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PixelPencil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixel Diffusion sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PixelPencil holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PixelPencil has 110 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of PixelPencil's written reviews are positive against 33% of Pixel Diffusion's.
