# WatchPass 2 vs Password Generator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Password Generator at every 3 days against WatchPass 2's monthly. WatchPass 2's advantage is iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchPass 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Password Generator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WatchPass 2 ships an update monthly, Password Generator every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
