# iTheme vs Themes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Themes at 83% against iTheme's 25%. Themes also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (493 vs 2). iTheme's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTheme sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Themes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Themes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Themes has 493 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of iTheme's written reviews are positive against 83% of Themes's.
