# Pet Merge Run vs Cat Evolution!

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cat Evolution! at 23K against Pet Merge Run's 11. Pet Merge Run's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pet Merge Run sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cat Evolution! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pet Merge Run holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cat Evolution! has 23K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
