# Focus English vs PRO SOURCE

The clearest difference is ads: PRO SOURCE at none against Focus English's shown. Focus English's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus English sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PRO SOURCE sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus English ships an update every 2 weeks, PRO SOURCE every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
