# Math Facts vs Multiplication Flash Cards*

The clearest difference is monetization model: Math Facts at free with in-app purchases against Multiplication Flash Cards*'s subscription. Math Facts also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 7) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Multiplication Flash Cards*'s advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Facts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Multiplication Flash Cards* sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Math Facts against 4.6 for Multiplication Flash Cards*. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Facts has 17K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Math Facts ships an update every 9 months, Multiplication Flash Cards* every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
