# Carousel vs Visi

The clearest difference is rating: Visi at 5.0 against Carousel's 4.8. Visi also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Carousel's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carousel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Visi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Visi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carousel has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Carousel ships an update fortnightly, Visi every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
