# PlayMaker Baseball vs CommitU

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CommitU at 100% against PlayMaker Baseball's 58%. CommitU also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). PlayMaker Baseball's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (190 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlayMaker Baseball sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and CommitU sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CommitU holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayMaker Baseball has 190 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of PlayMaker Baseball's written reviews are positive against 100% of CommitU's.

PlayMaker Baseball ships an update every 6 days, CommitU every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
