# Maine CDL Permit Practice vs CDL Prep

The clearest difference is ratings volume: CDL Prep at 3.4K against Maine CDL Permit Practice's 12. CDL Prep also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Maine CDL Permit Practice sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and CDL Prep sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
