# Dreamfit vs Areafit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dreamfit at every 4 weeks against Areafit's every 2 months. Areafit's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dreamfit ships an update every 4 weeks, Areafit every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
