# Fiat vs Dream Journal

The clearest difference is rating: Dream Journal at 5.0 against Fiat's 3.7. Dream Journal also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Fiat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (215 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dream Journal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Fiat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dream Journal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fiat has 215 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
