# Shift vs FAN EXPO Canada

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shift at every 5 months against FAN EXPO Canada's every 10 months. Shift also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shift ships an update every 5 months, FAN EXPO Canada every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
