# LookAhead AI vs Simple Notes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LookAhead AI at none against Simple Notes's 1. LookAhead AI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Simple Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and ratings volume (11 vs 2). On price, ads, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LookAhead AI asks for nothing beyond the download.

LookAhead AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notes has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LookAhead AI ships an update monthly, Simple Notes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
