# To Do List Widget vs Task Now

The clearest difference is monetization model: Task Now at free with in-app purchases against To Do List Widget's subscription. To Do List Widget's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. To Do List Widget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and Task Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for To Do List Widget against 4.5 for Task Now. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: To Do List Widget has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
