# Remortal vs Virtual Humans

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Virtual Humans at 81 against Remortal's 9. Virtual Humans also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remortal sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Virtual Humans sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for Remortal against 4.0 for Virtual Humans. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Humans has 81 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 11% of Remortal's written reviews are positive against 15% of Virtual Humans's.

Remortal ships an update fortnightly, Virtual Humans weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
