# Mechanical FE Prep vs StampReady

The clearest difference is device support: Mechanical FE Prep at 3 against StampReady's 1. Mechanical FE Prep also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mechanical FE Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StampReady sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
