# SubMed vs Anata

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SubMed at 13.0 against Anata's 16.6. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubMed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Anata sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
