# Forms vs Mood Board

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mood Board at 55% against Forms's 0%. Mood Board also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and ads (none vs shown). Forms's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forms sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Mood Board sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mood Board holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mood Board has 101 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of Forms's written reviews are positive against 55% of Mood Board's.

Forms ships an update every 3 days, Mood Board fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
