# Text App vs iDreamers

The clearest difference is rating: Text App at 4.6 against iDreamers's 3.8. Text App also leads on ratings volume (9.7K vs 10). iDreamers's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (67% vs 34%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Text App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. iDreamers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Text App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Text App has 9.7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Text App's written reviews are positive against 67% of iDreamers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Text App ships an update every 2 months, iDreamers every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
