# Cucumber Timer vs WhyLens

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cucumber Timer at every 9 days against WhyLens's monthly. WhyLens's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cucumber Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WhyLens sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cucumber Timer ships an update every 9 days, WhyLens monthly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
