# Camect Viewer vs Homaxi View

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Camect Viewer at 100% against Homaxi View's 57%. Camect Viewer also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.0). Homaxi View's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Homaxi View holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Camect Viewer's written reviews are positive against 57% of Homaxi View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
