# Camect Viewer vs Alta Networks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Alta Networks at every 2 weeks against Camect Viewer's every 2 months. Alta Networks also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Camect Viewer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alta Networks holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Camect Viewer's written reviews are positive against 82% of Alta Networks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Camect Viewer ships an update every 2 months, Alta Networks every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 3, 2026.
