# HeroQuest vs Scrybin

The clearest difference is rating: Scrybin at 5.0 against HeroQuest's 4.0. Scrybin also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). HeroQuest's advantage is ratings volume (221 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scrybin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeroQuest has 221 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HeroQuest ships an update every 5 weeks, Scrybin every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
