# Petlibro vs ResQ

The clearest difference is rating: ResQ at 5.0 against Petlibro's 4.5. ResQ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Petlibro's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Petlibro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ResQ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ResQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Petlibro has 7.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Petlibro ships an update weekly, ResQ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
