# Anki Note vs AI Flashcards

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Anki Note at 43% against AI Flashcards's 0%. AI Flashcards's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (116 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anki Note sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AI Flashcards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Flashcards has 116 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Anki Note's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Flashcards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anki Note ships an update every 9 days, AI Flashcards every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
