# mindsurfer® vs AmiFit

The clearest difference is update cadence: AmiFit at every 3 weeks against mindsurfer®'s every 8 months. mindsurfer®'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mindsurfer® sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AmiFit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mindsurfer® ships an update every 8 months, AmiFit every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
