# Actions vs OnlyCat

The clearest difference is ads: Actions at none against OnlyCat's shown. Actions also leads on ratings volume (515 vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). OnlyCat's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OnlyCat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Actions has 515 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 92% and 91% positive.

Actions ships an update monthly, OnlyCat every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
