# rqlock vs Flip Clock

The clearest difference is rating: Flip Clock at 5.0 against rqlock's 3.0. Flip Clock also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 2). rqlock's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. rqlock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and Flip Clock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 21 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

rqlock ships an update every 2 days, Flip Clock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
