# Check Splitter vs Nelko

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Check Splitter at none against Nelko's 8. Nelko's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 3). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nelko sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Check Splitter asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Check Splitter against 4.9 for Nelko.
