# 书香荆楚 vs AR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 书香荆楚 at 100% against AR's 12%. AR's advantage is rating (2.6 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (292 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AR holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AR has 292 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 书香荆楚's written reviews are positive against 12% of AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

书香荆楚 ships an update monthly, AR every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
