# ProVelocity vs ProLook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ProVelocity at none against ProLook's 2. ProVelocity also leads on ads (none vs shown). ProLook's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (46 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProLook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. ProVelocity asks for nothing beyond the download.

ProVelocity holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProLook has 46 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
