# HLTH vs Sidebar Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Sidebar Chat at 5.0 against HLTH's 4.0. Sidebar Chat also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and device support (3 vs 1). HLTH's advantage is ratings volume (230 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sidebar Chat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HLTH has 230 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HLTH ships an update every 2 weeks, Sidebar Chat monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
