# Specialized vs SailSync AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SailSync AI at 100% against Specialized's 50%. SailSync AI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). Specialized's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ratings volume (11K vs 3). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SailSync AI sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Specialized asks for nothing beyond the download.

SailSync AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Specialized has 11K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Specialized's written reviews are positive against 100% of SailSync AI's.

Specialized ships an update fortnightly, SailSync AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
