# XGO vs 5D HoLo

The clearest difference is rating: XGO at 3.0 against 5D HoLo's 1.8. 5D HoLo's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XGO holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5D HoLo has 31 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of XGO's written reviews are positive against 27% of 5D HoLo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XGO ships an update every 3 months, 5D HoLo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
