# Waveform Visualizer vs Wonderfind

The clearest difference is monetization model: Waveform Visualizer at freemium against Wonderfind's subscription. Waveform Visualizer also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0). Wonderfind's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 39%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Waveform Visualizer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Wonderfind sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Waveform Visualizer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 118 and 176 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Waveform Visualizer's written reviews are positive against 52% of Wonderfind's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Waveform Visualizer ships an update every 4 weeks, Wonderfind monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
