# Block Puzzle Gem vs Blockanza

Block Puzzle Gem and Blockanza both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 84% of Block Puzzle Gem's written reviews are positive against 38% of Blockanza's. Block Puzzle Gem also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Blockanza's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1.9K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block Puzzle Gem sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Blockanza sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Block Puzzle Gem against 4.7 for Blockanza. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blockanza has 11K ratings behind it against 1.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Block Puzzle Gem's written reviews are positive against 38% of Blockanza's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
