# Rx vs Olight

The clearest difference is rating: Olight at 4.0 against Rx's 3.1. Olight also leads on ratings volume (79 vs 8). Rx's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Olight holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olight has 79 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Rx's written reviews are positive against 31% of Olight's.
