# Liquid vs Healthy Eat's

The clearest difference is rating: Healthy Eat's at 5.0 against Liquid's 4.5. Healthy Eat's also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). Liquid's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.7 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liquid sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Healthy Eat's sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Healthy Eat's holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liquid has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Liquid ships an update every 2 months, Healthy Eat's every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
