# Runner Runner vs PitPat

The clearest difference is monetization model: Runner Runner at freemium against PitPat's subscription. PitPat's advantage is chart position (#199 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runner Runner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and PitPat sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Runner Runner ships an update weekly, PitPat every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
