# ProField OnSite vs Onlynote

The clearest difference is rating: Onlynote at 4.8 against ProField OnSite's 1.0. Onlynote also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (93 vs 2). ProField OnSite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onlynote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. ProField OnSite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Onlynote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onlynote has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ProField OnSite ships an update every 3 months, Onlynote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
