# Matic Robots vs LycheeThings

The clearest difference is update cadence: Matic Robots at every 6 days against LycheeThings's every 2 months. Matic Robots also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (126 vs 8). LycheeThings's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Matic Robots holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matic Robots has 126 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Matic Robots's written reviews are positive against 88% of LycheeThings's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Matic Robots ships an update every 6 days, LycheeThings every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
