# FREEDOTS vs TRUEFREE

The clearest difference is rating: TRUEFREE at 1.3 against FREEDOTS's 1.0. TRUEFREE also leads on ratings volume (16 vs 1). FREEDOTS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TRUEFREE holds the better App Store score, 1.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TRUEFREE has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FREEDOTS ships an update every 3 weeks, TRUEFREE every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
