# Xponential+ vs Hinge Fitness

The clearest difference is rating: Hinge Fitness at 5.0 against Xponential+'s 4.3. Hinge Fitness also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Xponential+'s advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xponential+ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Hinge Fitness asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hinge Fitness holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xponential+ has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
