# Mysc. vs Zup

The clearest difference is ads: Zup at none against Mysc.'s shown. Zup also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Mysc.'s advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zup holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mysc. has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Mysc. ships an update every 9 days, Zup every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on August 18, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
