# SkillCat vs Scripture

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scripture at none against SkillCat's 8. Scripture also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). SkillCat's advantage is chart position (#60 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillCat sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Scripture asks for nothing beyond the download.

SkillCat ships an update every 5 weeks, Scripture every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
