# DBC Online vs No Sugar

The clearest difference is rating: No Sugar at 3.8 against DBC Online's 2.5. No Sugar also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

No Sugar holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of DBC Online's written reviews are positive against 33% of No Sugar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DBC Online ships an update every 2 months, No Sugar every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
